Our group classes are held at our training grounds in Maple Ridge on nine beautiful acres. We have both indoor and outdoor training areas to accommodate all degrees of weather. Puppy Kindergarten: $130 plus gst 6 sessions Recommended Age 12-24 weeks All puppies must have two sets of vaccines, including Bordetella (kennel cough vaccine) Our puppy program is where the adventure begins. This is an important class that will help you establish a proper working relationship with your new family member, and help your pup to become and welcome and obedient member of society. We cover basic manners, a focus command, safe and proper socialization techniques with people and other pups, and touch on some basic obedience (sit, stay, recall, walking on a loose leash)We also take time to talk about common puppy issues (housetraining, jumping, chewing barking) and always have time for questions. Basic Obedience Program: $130 plus gst for 6 sessions Recommended age: 5 months and older All dogs must show proof of current vaccines or titer In Basic Obedience we meet one hour, once a week for 6 weeks. You and your dog will be taught all of the basic commands; Sit, Down (at heel and at a 6 foot distance) , Heel, Come, Stay and Finish. You will also learn to understand and work with your dog's specific personality and how to work with both verbal cues and hand signals, and from various positions and around distraction. Any behavioral problems can also be addressed as they arise and we are always available at the end of every class to answer your questions. Intermediate Program:- $130 (plus gst) for 6 Sessions All dogs must show proof of current vaccines or titer Recommended age: All dogs in this class must have completed our basic obedience program or passed and evaluation prior to sign up. This program offers the next step for you and your dog in obedience training! We recommend this class before moving on to our Advanced Class. After reviewing your basic obedience, we move on to the next step; Heeling with no hands, hand signals only, working on a long line, moving downs and extended sit, downstays around increased distraction and long stand. Advanced Program- $130 (plus gst) for 6 Sessions Recommended age: All dogs in this class must have completed our Intermediate program or pass an evaluation prior to sign up. This is a six week program that allows you and your dog to take your training to a higher level of obedience. This class is for the serious handler! We cover a review of the basics then head into, down on recall and off leash heeling skills and patterns, as well as jumps, hand signals from a distance and distraction recalls. Intermediate Obedience or an evaluation by one of our trainers is a must for this program!
